Aquarium

Abby & Logan went to visit the Monterey Bay Aquarium for the first time. It was the first time Mommy has been in probably 10+ years as well. While down there the kids met up with their friend Amelia. The kids loved watching the fish, although I think they liked the otters the best, and most definitely the ice cream sundaes at Ghiradelli afterwards.

Rocket Fun

Today Daddy came home with cool new bubble toy - a rocket. It was supposed to shoot up in the air, and at the same time produce hundreds of small bubbles. Well.... it went up in the air, but the bubble action, not so good. (needless to say it is going back.) The kids did have a total blast though launching it.

Lost...

This afternoon we went to go meet Grandma for lunch at Red Robbins, now one of Abby's new favorite places to go eat, and then to see Papa. In between the two places Abby asked me what town we were in. I told her we were in San Mateo. She followed up with well Mom you might get lost. I told her that when Mommy was a little girl I used to drive these streets, so I know where I am going. She replied with Mommy! Little girls can't drive cars. They only sit in car seats!

Silence

This evening as the kids were heading home from a fun evening out with their friend Amelia, Abby decided to sing, and sing and sing. I asked her if she could just relax for a few, and was told "no". Abby then proceeded to ask me what she could sing, I told her "silence" She asked me "how do you sing 'silence'?" I told her well we don't talk we are quiet. Next thing I know she has made up a song about silence and is now singing that. It was worth a shot, right?

St. Patty's Fun

The kids hosted a St. Patty's day party Saturday complete with green hamburger buns. Check out all the fun that was had.....

Fun with Lilah

Abby helped me baby sit her friend Ava's little sister Lilah. Abby had a blast playing with her. She ven got Lilah to dance.

Preschool love

This afternoon when grandma came over Abby told grandma that she made a valentine's card for one of her Brosdmoor friends - Joey. She went on to tell grandma that he is her best freind at school & that she loves him.

Reno / Party / Snow

The kids went on a road trip this weekend to Reno to help celebrate Sarah's 1st birthday. The drive up was fairly uneventful. Abby didn't look so hot by the time we arrived at the hotel; the fever she had been running for the last couple days really had taken it's toll on her. Abby & Logan ended up spending the rest of Friday relaxing int he room to gear up for the festivities to follow. Sarah's birthday was celebrated at a pump it up type place. They had a blast. Abby kept going up and down the same gigantic slide over & over & over. Logan was just happy to be able to wonder freely with no restrictions. Sunday we headed back home. On our way we stopped at Boreal to have some fun in the snow. Abby thought it was pretty cool. Logan however didn't. My guess is it was the fact he still really wanted to be asleep, although it could have been the amount of clothes he had to put on since it was very windy and very cold.
