SICK???

On the way to Grandma's house Abby got sick and threw up in Grandma's car. By the end of the day you would never know she had gotten sick in the morning.

Abby's friend, Ava, joined Abby & Logan today at Super Franks to do something fun for her birthday. The girls decided to be rock stars and sing Slippery fish. I so wish I had brought a video camea with me.

Fancy Nancy fun!

Today Abby celebrated her 4th birthday with all her friends. The best part of her day was opening the box of watermelon underwear. She was ecstatic(fancy word for very happy).

Rarely does Shadow "snuggle" with anyone. He is just not that type of cat. He must have really missed us while we were gone.....

Camp Blue Fun

The kids spent the week at Camp Blue, one of Cal Berkeley's Family Camps. They both had a blast. Abby spent much of her time in the Kub Korral ( aka 'the KK') Logan when not playing in the KK spent his time with mommy and daddy walking out to the lake or "swimming" in the pool.

New Beds

Today both kids transitioned to new beds. Well really only Abby got a new bed. She got a twin bed, and Logan got her toddler bed. AM I sure I want him out of a crib?

"Sleep Over"

After a couple stories we put the girls down for bed. Amelia chatted for a while to herself. We couldn't her Abby talking back to her, other than the occassinal "shh!" Eventually we heard some good snoring.

In the morning when we asked Abby if she liked sleeping with Amelia she said " no, she hogged all the foot space."

Promotion

Today was the last day of Abby's first year of preschool. We left a little early this morning to go get a special treat from Starbucks - chocolate milk, which of course some of it ended up on her white shirt. IT was a very exciting day. Abby, along with all her classmates, sang 3 songs for the parents, and then received their "diplomas".
