Finally....

Well it took me a while to finally get this on video, but I finally got it. Check it out.

Logan & the Cozy Car

Logan loves playing with his big sisters Cozy Car...I think we will have to get him his own soon to avoid any fights over it.

The mysterical Chevron

Abby knows daddy goes to work at this place called Chevron everyday.She has even been to his office. She also knows what there logo looks like,as I found out today - the only thing i can figure is she has asked "what is this" on one of Jason's shirts. Anyhow,after ballet today we headed to REI in Berkeley, as we were driving down Ashby Abby spots a Chevron gas station and say "Chevron". I say yes, that is. Then she precedes to say " that's where daddy is." Of course i say well yes, daddy works for Chevron, but he works at an office in San Ramon. She thinks for a while. Then we pass another Chevron to wish she says again, "Look mommy Chevron - daddy's there."

Abbyisms...

It is always amazing how the brain of a almost preschool works. What is even more interesting is how they say things. Below is how you say things in Abby speak and what the real word is.

Hamsterdam = Amsterdam
pak-pack = back pack (I found out the other day her friend Ashleigh coincidentally says it the same way)
melon water = watermelon
old mc donald = mc donalds
thank thank = thank you
pack-n-play = the kelty back back carrier
Amelie = Amelia (one of her favorite pals)
buddieo = buddy (aka logan)

Some how Abby manages to get "word world" out correctly and I barely can.

Ballet Practice

Abby is preparing for the recital in June. This ought to be very entertaining. Can't you just picture trying to get a whole group of 2-3 year olds in costume doing the exact thing at the same time.

The world according to...

The world according to an almost preschooler is quite fascinating. Yesterday as we were driving over the San Mateo Bridge Abby spy's a plane, and says that Grandma and Papa are on that plane. I swear she thinks that they are just floating around on a plane somewhere in the sky even though I keep telling her that they are in Belgium. Abby also thinks that all planes go to San Diego since that is the only place she really remembers going to on a plane. She has been to Las Vegas, twice in fact, via a plane, but I'm guessing in her world San Diego was the funner of the trips (it was also the most recent plane ride).

Abby is also very excited about the big girl bike our neighbors just gave her. (there daughter has since outgrown it) Today she told me that there is no push bar on it for me to push her. It is true. Her trike has a push bar, and I have pushing her for "bike rides" since she was 1. At dinner tonight we told her that she has to learn to peddle for herself on her trike if she wants to start riding the big girl bike. (hoping it would motivate her) She said OK. After dinner Abby & I went for a "bike ride”. She tried to peddle for a second and then stopped. So I did my usual and finished pushing her around the block (yes I know the bar must go!!) When we got back home Abby went up to the new bike and was pointing out all the different part on it. The best part was the basket on the bike, which she told me "was for ginger to sit in". How a 40lbs dog is going to fit in a basket barely big enough for a Chihuahua is beyond me, but it was nonetheless a very cute idea.
